A wireless router is a device that acts as the central hub for a wireless network.

It combines the functions of a traditional wired router with those of a wireless access point, enabling multiple devices to connect and communicate within a network without the need for physical cables.

Wireless routers offer reliable and secure connectivity and ensure extensive coverage, making it an ideal solution for businesses operating in remote or underserved areas, and fixed, temporary, or pop-up locations.

Find general best practices below:

  1. Check the Network Coverage: Make sure that your device is within range of the LTE/5G network coverage. Check your network provider’s coverage map to verify that you are in a covered area.
  2. Check the SIM Card: Ensure that your device has an active SIM card that is correctly inserted. Verify that the SIM card is compatible with your device and the network provider’s LTE/5G network.
  3. Check Network Settings: Ensure that your device is properly configured for LTE/5G connectivity. Go to your device’s settings and verify that LTE/5G is enabled.
  4. Restart the Device: Restart your device to refresh its settings and resolve any network connectivity issues.
  5. Reset Network Settings: Reset your device’s network settings to default to remove any possible configuration errors. Go to your device’s settings and select “Reset Network Settings”.
  6. Check for Updates: Check for any software updates available for your device and network provider. Software updates can often resolve connectivity issues.
  7. Check for Interference: Other wireless devices, electronic devices, or physical obstructions can cause interference and disrupt network connectivity. Move away from these obstructions or turn off other devices to improve network connectivity.
