Q: Does Granite Telecommunications offer customized reporting?
A: Yes. Through our proprietary software Cornerstone, we offer Rock Reports. These reports enable our customers to customize reports that provide a variety of broad and narrowly focused account data as well as support fraud prevention measures.
Q: My company has hundreds of locations. Does this mean I will still get hundreds of bills each month?
A: No, not if you don't want to. Granite Telecommunications offers the option of receiving one consolidated bill at the corporate level or individual bills separated by location. No matter which option you choose, Granite Telecommunications provides call detail and usage charges itemized by location.
Q: Will I still receive a monthly telephone bill?
A: Yes. Granite Telecommunications bills on a monthly basis. Customers choose how they would like to receive their bill. They can choose web-based access, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), email and mailed CD-ROM diskette. Granite Telecommunications does provide conventional paper bills but strongly encourages our customers to join us in saving precious natural resources by going paperless!
Q: What is EDI?
A: EDI stands for Electronic Data Interchange, an electronic method to exchange business documents in a standardized format. Since the data format is standardized the customer can be assured they will be able to read the bill through their EDI software. Granite Telecommunications offers the 811 Consolidated Service Invoice Statement. This allows for the billing of complex and structured service invoice detail. Use of EDI safeguards data integrity and eliminates redundant data entry and the use and storage of paper. Only customers with EDI software can take advantage of this billing option.
